Learning to Manage Dissociative Symptoms
Learning to Manage Dissociative Symptoms is a 12 week small group. This group is directed towards any individual who is struggling with dissociation. The purpose of the group is to better understand what dissociation is, how it impacts your healing, how you dissociate, and skills you can practice to aid you in being more present for your healing.
The link will take you to videos of these lessons so that you can begin this process. However you will not have the same interactive experience as taking the class with others as well as a trained therapist to aid in answering questions, providing support, and providing options to the skills suggested in the videos. Due to not being able to run this group as often as requested, the videos have been provided as a starting point.

Support for Supporters of People with DID and OSDD
This is a open group designed to provide a place to learn about what the diagnosis the person you are supporting is all about. It is also a place for you to find support due to the sometimes confusing, high stress, and even at times trauma that can happen to you in this role. This group will provide psychoeducation on the latest research, bust through common myths, and attempt to provide a sharing experience with others going through similar situations. This is not meant to be therapy, and all participants are encouraged to seek out their own individual therapist to work on specific issues that you may be dealing with.
The link below will take you to some videos that may provide some helpful insight, resources, and better understanding of your current experiences. Please do not hesitate to email requests for topics not found in the video series to improve the library of support for yourself and others.

Skills Training for those with DID
Group Capacity if Full at this time
This is an open group that is ongoing. Members of this group have a confirmed diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder and have agreed to being assessed with either the Multidimensional Inventory of Dissociation (MID 6.0), the Dissociative Disorders Interview Schedule (DDIS), or the Semi-Structured Clinical Interview for Dissociative Symptoms and Disorders (SCID-D). You may discuss with the therapist group leader individually the purpose of this request. All potential group members will meet with the group leader to go over assessment, group norms, expectations, and informed consent prior to starting with the group. It is understandable that this request can bring up intense feelings, and that is recognized. In order to protect the existing group members, these standards have been created and can again be discussed individually with the group leader prior to joining the group. The group currently works through 3 different workbooks on a rotating basis. Coping with Trauma -Related Dissociation by Boon, Steele, and Van der Hart., The Finding Solid Ground Program Workbook by Schielke, Brand, Lanius, and Me, Not-Me, and We by Emily Sunshaw. As new material is introduced, this group is open to adding future skills resources.
